Cons

After navigating through 2020 with COVID and quarantine, while being employed with Cox Enterprises, I can honestly say I have no CONS to share. Cox has always been a great organization of which I have felt a valued member. However, the response of the company in the most tragic time this generation has seen world-wide has provided me an even greater feeling of pride and resilience, knowing that I have the strength of my entire organization. When there was doubt and uncertainty, Cox responded with fluidity and change to ensure the employees were safe, sustained and supported. Is every day perfect? No (not anywhere, ever!). Are there things I would like to change? Of course! Are there any detractors significant enough that would discourage a potential future employee from applying? No! There is no organization that makes 100% of their employees happy 100% of the time; but there are enough good experiences and diversity in offerings and opportunities that you have to try very hard to not be satisfied in your career choice and proud to be an employee of Cox Enterprises!

Pros

Health benefits were inexpensive, 401k matching, life insurance offered.

Cons

Unless you're in Management or above you're not going to be recognized for your contributions. Reviews are a joke, you'll get the same 2% raise at the person next to you or never does anything and has no work ethic. You'll be stressed out by demands from your VP and corporate with no regard to your health. I've been in this line of work for over 20 years and I've never had such horrible leadership. Taking a day off or a vacation was was a scary thought because of what I'd have in my inbox to attempt to catch up on when I returned. Certain regional VPs in the area will do and say whatever they needed to advance rather than take responsibility for their poor leadership and avoidance of local problems.
