Cracked Barrel Server

Pros

Excellent training program. Probably one of the most intensive, detailed server training programs I have had in 25 years of waitressing. Taught all of the basics that servers should know and do, but 80% of employees don't implement. These include; don't bring your cell phone to work, keep busy even during slow periods, fill tea/water of ALL surrounding tables(not just your own), pre-bus, and stay well stocked.

Cons

Once you are done with said training, and have worked several training shifts, and food running shifts, you should be able to work. Expected to have open availability for all Holidays and work on these Holidays. As the employee, you expect to get more than 2 shifts. If you can only be squeezed in for 2 shifts, then you need to make $200 on each shift, to keep your head above water. However, the shifts you get are "mid" shifts, (2pm-7pm) after breakfast and lunch, and before dinner rushes.
