Pros

Honestly, I feel like I have hit the jackpot. I have worked for many companies with either terrible work-life balance, horrible management, or incredibly inefficient environments. Cranial Tech is none of those! The staff is friendly and super helpful to each other and to the patients. I love this client population. Even when I have bad days with demanding parents, management helps me out and makes me feel like they are always on my side. Cranial Tech is a well-oiled machine. I knew it before I joined the company and every day here just makes me value it more. They are constantly perfecting their system, whether it's in manufacturing or in client interactions. No two babies are the same and no two staff members are the same and Cranial Tech definitely takes the time out for everyone. I can do research and presentations if I want to. I can work part-time or travel if I want to. My manager works with me for every time off request I have and trusts in my work. I have never felt this supported and this low level of stress at a job.

Cons

This isn't the right job for everyone. First of all, this is a very very niche clientele and the parents of patients can be very challenging. If you don't like working on only one condition and sometimes having to do 5 growth adjustments in a row or 3 evaluations in a row, then this job isn't for you. Some days can be hectic and packed with clients if one of the other clinicians calls off, but they have a great system of back-up and travel clinicians to help out. You definitely have to be a little more independent and self-proficient as a practitioner in order to fully enjoy this job because even though there is a thorough training process at the beginning, you only get out of it what you put into it. You have to take charge of your own time here to make the most out of it.
