Pros

Hardly any pros except employee discounts

Cons

This company is so UNORGANIZED from the top down, yet they run on a corporate model. There’s no structure to benefit the employees that work hard to expand Curaleaf. Valid issues, such as employees experiencing harassment, safety concerns, POS software issues, employee uniform shortage. I wasn’t even trained on HIPA laws until 2 months after working there and that’s a huge regulation. When these common issues were brought up they were completely disregarded—ignored, in fact—and I was terminated. Do yourself a favor: if you like the cannabis industry, DON’T work for this company. There are much better dispensaries out there that actually respect their employees.

Pros

Health insurance was decent. Employee discount is good. Pay is decent.

Cons

Unfortunately, this company does not have anything together. From 7+ rounds of layoffs in 2 years to 'restructuring' of various departments over and over again, it's clear they have no idea what direction they want/need to go in. The executive leadership team is an absolute joke. They have no idea how to work with a company that is remote and hourly. They is very real favoritism from the top leadership, and everyone under them can feel it. The C-suite is also padded with people who have no idea what they're doing, but always receiving their bonuses and annual increases while taking them away from the people who actually deserve it. The Human Resources department is/was filled with incompetent, underperforming & overpaid leadership who was friends with the, former, CPO. The company is all about who you can suck up to the most to get what's best for you and no one cares about the collective group. There are people there that want to do well, but will never be allowed because the company doesn't care about its employees and how hard they work for what little is given back. They are 100% profit over people, despite how many times the C-suite says otherwise. They love to tout all the awards that they win for diversity & best place to work lists that they pay to win. All in all, just avoid if at all possible. If you are looking to work on the corporate side of things within a cannabis organization, I'd recommend doing some research into other companies.
