Pros

Cold brew keg and casual work environment

Cons

The mobile team is run by leaders who value metrics, and hate any creative opposition. Pay is low. Promotions are based on favoritism and showcase the lack of boundaries between managers and direct reports. The team has a constant turn over, with only "favorites" and those who are afraid to pay thousands of dollars for breaking their 2 year contract remaining. Managers are promoted to a leadership position simply for outlasting everyone else. Cvent is a cool company, but I would stay far away from a role on the Mobile Solutions team and pursue a position on any other team.

Pros

Great people to work with, and a great culture, in Draper, UT

Cons

- Ivory Tower Architecture - don't try to innovate unless you have their explicit blessing, and you're in the boys club - Very prevalent attitude coming out of HQ that they're better than everyone else, regardless of whether they actually think it or not - Leadership and other people in the boys club behave poorly with continual support from any and all people above them

Pros

- They are hiring bright and talented candidates - Multiple job openings

Cons

- Apathetic trainers and hastily organized on boarding program - Distrust and suspicion evident, i.e., "big-brother" type of working culture - No work-life balance (they say 9 hour work days, but what it turns into is more like 9-11 hrs per day) - They tout that they thrive on chaos, but in actuality, the chaos is a result of their inability to scale, so why not embrace it, right? - Poor Management - because of their growth, many are being put into management positions (with no prior experience managing teams) as a result and necessity due to volatile growth - Overall vibe of the culture to be oppressive and derisive, varied by department (some are better than others)
