      Pros

      Atmosphere and open door policy with management are huge value-adds. It's always encouraged to meet regularly with management to ensure you are meeting career goals.

      Cons

      There can be limited opportunities to continuously grow within a department, but I still felt like I was encouraged to explore options in my own dept as well as others.

      Pros

      Great people. The people here are some of the smartest people I know.

      Cons

      No sense of incentives. You work 50 hours one week no one cares. You finish something ahead of time, no one cares. You do something wrong once, you get a stern talking to. They expect a lot, but don't compensate accordingly.

      Pros

      Cvent offers a lot of work experience right out of the gate, especially for new hires who are entering their first time job right out of school. You get the chance to manage your own clients and prospects and take on a lot of responsibility.

      Cons

      There is a general feeling that Cvent is unnecessarily stingy. They do not pay as much as other comparable software companies for their sales reps. They offer meager time off with no short term disability options, which was difficult for me to manage when going through health problems. They are also very frugal involving employee travel, etc. Management is also often not good at communicating down to employees. I worked for a full quarter without a commission plan, which in Sales is incredibly frustrating and demotivating.
