Thank you for your recommendation! It is very rewarding when our employees provide feedback that reiterates what a great company D&M Leasing is for employees to work. We are proud of not being a typical automotive industry employer as we realize that team members are looking for a place to call family and to grow and learn. This is why long hours are sometimes required to help facilitate an employee's success within the business. We appreciate your feedback and wish you the very best!

Pros

Good pay if you con people

Cons

Unethical, made to feel dumb for asking questions, mentor is a joke, they don’t tell you that your mentor makes money off of your sales despite not being available to help you or ask questions. The car business is truly a disgusting profession.

We are sorry to hear that you are not enjoying your experience. We pride ourselves on being a company that not only instills ethical leadership but expects the same from our employees. This is evident in the recent employee engagement results where we scored in the upper percentile of our industry with regards to operating by strong values. We endeavor to provide best in class training and support to new associates and in some instances, this involves providing a mentor to facilitate the normal sales leadership process. If you feel there is a violation of company policy or if your mentor is not supporting you, please let your Sales Manager or General Manager know so we can assign someone who is a better fit. We would like for you to have an enjoyable experience taking care of your customer’s needs.

A week after my training, I asked my manager about moving to a different position for a time and then coming back to the leasing position. A simple conversation turned into the end of a very short-lived career. He told me he thought I should just resign from the company and even wrote a resignation statement and told me to sign it. I begged him to let me stay, but he told me he would just stop giving me LEADS. I felt I had no choice but to leave. I wish I would have reached out to a different manager who I feel would have had a much better response. This person even questioned why I spoke well and not like one of my colleagues of the same race. That was entirely demeaning. I was shocked. To make matters worse, I was promised by this manager I could get my career back. He even shook my hand on that. Yet, when I've reached out to members of the company, I was turned away. I wouldn't be surprised if he badmouth me. I have never been so disappointed and hurt in my life. I can't help but think how differently things could have gone if I had a direct manager who could have shown me an ounce of compassion and
