Pros

Spacious working environment Senior leadership team are smart, ambitious, great people...but being micromanaged from the top Coworkers are very nice Christmas event is prob the only nicest event

Cons

No clear direction or constant changes of direction. There is basically no trust from the owner that people can do good job, therefore the micromanagement. This includes the trying to micromanage senior leadership team as well - they are great and smart talents but not being trusted for whatever reason. The mindset and operation are very old schooled - believing that people should go beyond just because DDS gives you money (wages) and should be punished if not doing a good job, no recognition or incentive to allow people wanting to go extra miles. Everyone just shows up working mindlessly and afraid of speaking up. Turnover rate is insane, all the way up to senior level. Recently the senior leadership team is probably 70% turnover rate, and finance team is pretty much 100% turnover rate since Christmas last year. Not willing to spend any extra cent to motivate people or to offer the "care" aspect. You would feel so "blessed" just having one meal from them for some small events - it's like beggars can't be choosers kind of mindset, you better be content. Take advantage of new immigrants and offer below market salary.

Pros

Great co-workers and that's the only positive side of working here.

Cons

The current CEO of the company is not Rob King but Ali Sanei and he is leading the whole organization to certain bankruptcy. During his current leadership the company lost its biggest NY client and half of its talented staff. He is very talkative, but it is only dust in the eyes of the owner. The financial results under his management are more than desperate. He is totally incompetent and the direction in which he is leading the company is to certain death. Unfortunately, I feel that moment is very close and that's why I've already started looking and applying for new dev jobs with other SaaS companies. So pity for DDS and its long history footprint in the North America transport industry.
