Pros
Get a salary, and get to work with other young professionals. Offices are nice and company pays for everything when you travel
Cons
Long hours. And I mean LONG hours. They give you another phone when you start and you're expected to always respond to that. Tons of groups on iMessage that you have to respond to otherwise your seen as being unresponsive and then hackled for not being there for your team. Multiple check-ins all while traveling. Expected to travel like 3-5 times a week, many times to middle of nowhere Nebraska, or Ohio. Company won't even let you pay for your own hotels anymore so goodbye to those benefits. I was able to get status on airlines and hotel points so I guess I got something out if it, but stuck at the airport during bad weather, or delay. Too bad just sit at the airport. Gained like 25 lbs because of all the fast food I was eating. Now for the job itself. As an engineer i felt like a glorified Comcast cable installer. Flying around installing servers for random companies. Most of which didn't even know what the Darktrace product does because the AE's do a bad job reading off the slides that management gives them. Sometimes installations went poorly and management would get ticked at me when it wasn't my fault. Boss was lazy and a sleezy liar. Would force us to come into the office saying he will be there and he would never show up wasting our time. Honestly, honest to GOD. I would not work here if I were to do it all over again. Don't buy into how good the company is doing - they aren't. Don't buy into the hidden benefits because there isn't a lot and they are slowly going away anyway. 1% 401k matching is a joke, promises bonuses and salary increases and got Penny's. No joke. You have NO room for growth unless you slave away for 1.5 years and then MIGHT get a title change which in reality comes with a few grand more and hundreds of more responsibilitys. If you just graduated college, please look elsewhere. These guys will take advantage of you like they did of me for over a year, and then replace you with a new graduate since the task is so simple and boring and 1 year later have no soft or hard skills to show for. You are worth more than this job. Don't do it.
