Pros

Benefits, Health Insurance, and if you do well, they MIGHT send you to Hawaii.

Cons

Where to begin... There is hardly ANY room for advancement/raises/promotions Everyone who works there sound like robots, Example: "David Weekley is the best man ever. He is just SO generous and SO kind! We just love working here" There are a lot of people over the age of 55 who have been there for AGES... tenure sounds good and all, but these people have drank the koolaid and they have SETTLED. They are usually pretty miserable knowing they have plateau-ed...flatlined... they have reached their max on salary and they have just accepted it! Unbelievable. They are cranky, old, and realize that "this is the best I am going to get... David Weekley is SO great...." They are brainwashed. THERE IS SO MUCH MORE OUT IN THE WORLD!!! When I had been there for almost a year, I asked my supervisor when I would get a raise, or a promotion to a higher position... and he LAUGHED at me, and told me "Oh, yeah, you are definitely 5-10 years out of being in ANY management position or getting anything more than a $500 raise." Yeah, I am 25 years old. I am not about to settle for a job like that.

Pros

Great group of people to work with. Excellent work / life balance. If you are really good at what you do, there is plenty of opportunity and the bonuses will offset the low base.

Cons

Pay is on the low side. Company bills itself as a family atmosphere, but that does not seem to make it out of the executive offices.

Pros

There are some that truly believe in the David Weekley values and live by them.

Cons

Most managers and DP's don't act within the David Weekley values even though they will claim to believe them. They are there to make money and will overwork you for little compensation for it.
