Pros

The pay is good pay, they match up to 8% on our 401k, no micro managing, very good support system. Plus we treated very well when the company goals are met.

Cons

To many associates in a community keeping opportunities to make real good money low. Does not seem to be purchasing much land for growth.

Pros

- Compensation - Nothing - Nothing - Nothing

Cons

In terms of the Indianapolis market: -The project managers are extremely full of themselves... They use derogatory terms to describe their team members. -Turnover rate is well above industry average. -Would strongly suggest a career away from DWH. -If you have any questions, I'm sure current/former employees would be more than happy to answer them.

Pros

Feels like family, and work doesn't feel like work. I can't imagine working anywhere else. Training is taken seriously and managers and coaches want you to succeed. Sales has a weekend off per month and a strong base salary which helps especially before backlog kicks in. Most managers are good at having fun "team building" events and no one takes themselves too seriously. Strong 401k match, good benefits, generous time off. No company is perfect, but ultimately, the leadership at the top wants to do the right thing. Access to leaders and executive management is not uncommon and Execs are not pretentious. Brand is important to DWH and management makes decisions to reinforce strong brand and stand by product. With company growth comes opportunity for some to advance.

Cons

Pay isn't as high as some others, but benefits are good. This is a performance driven job, so numbers matter as does customer satisfaction. This equals pressure- if you don't like pressure to perform and if you don't want to work weekends then don't go into new home sales! This is more about the job than the company. The interview process is long- again probably not a bad thing- just be prepared. Rapid growth leads to some growing pains.
