Pros

David Weekley offers great training, probably the best in the business. You can make good money there and the benefits are fantastic. They hand out lots of bonuses and everyone that works there is really cool and they seem to have a great culture.

Cons

You don't work for Mr. Weekley himself, you work for the project managers. Some are cool and some are not. Some are a little left of normal and have bad reputations throughout the entire company, that are often talked about by people even in upper management, but if they make money then it doesn't matter. I'm Not a disgruntled employee, but for a company that does so many things right and strives to be a top company to work for, they really miss the ball on some of their upper management.

Pros

Great training. Great people under the management level. Growing and expanding in new markets. Team members really care about each other as long as they are not forced to compete in a community.

Cons

Middle management bullied by upper management who completely ignores entire DWH Team Member Program. High turn over. Not many good team members can or will put up with contradiction between company policies and how it really works in the trenches so 2-3 years is average before the good ones leave.

Pros

Decent pay ($50,000 per year salary + 1% of sales price of home), good benefits, profit sharing. Great product overall.

Cons

ZERO room for professional growth. Builders are the only ones promoted to sales management, which is absurd. They also recruit a lot of managers from outside and overlook their own employees.
