Pros

They are available to talk to you. They give you a change to move up. They seem to listen to your concerns, but it comes with a price. They seem to want to work with someone to make them better.

Cons

Forms, forms, and more forms there is a form to fill out a form. Impossible budgets to make. The price to the above, you can be black balled if you point out a concern.

Pros

No pros . They want slaves not employees

Cons

They lower our salaries when they took control of the property I was working . Force me to go from annual to hourly and making my 80 hours week into 45. The took away a chunck of my salary .

DHG: Do Better

Pros

Only at the property level. Working at the resort was amazing, even during a construction year. We were a family, and always looked out for each other. There was so much hope and excitement for the new brand and the journey ahead by all of us. DHG actually wasn't a bad management company to work for: great support and policies, a little out of touch because they are located in Atlanta, but we all made it work. But then the renovation finished and the brand flipped....

Cons

I worked for the property for over 2.5 very happy years until DHG made some questionable choices in leadership at the property level last year. New leaders came in and team culture spiraled in such a short period of time in ways that I still can't wrap my head around. When I left, I gave well over 2 weeks notice as a courtesy and in the end, I was not given an exit interview (which was a required). Nothing says "we don't care about your experiences or contributions" more than being denied an EI. In the months since I left, dozens of solid people have either quit or been fired at the whim of HR with little or no cause and DHG does nothing. It's insane. This is a small town, and word has spread that this isn't a good place to work.

Thank you for sharing your detailed feedback. We're glad to hear about the positive experiences you had at the property level and the initial support from DHG. We're deeply concerned about the personal experience you raised regarding recent leadership changes and the lack of an exit interview. Your insights are invaluable, and we take them seriously as we strive to improve. We regret any negative impact on team culture and are committed to addressing these concerns. Thank you for your contributions and time with us - best of luck to you in your future career endeavors.
