Pros

Great people, nice office locations, cool company trips

Cons

The tech stack is outdated compared to competitors, which limits innovation and growth. Compensation is below industry standards and doesn't keep pace with the cost of living over time. Upper management, especially in sales, lacks clear direction and effectiveness. Despite internal efforts, the company consistently falls short of revenue targets due to a lack of innovation. Promotions often come without corresponding increases in title or compensation, which can be demotivating.

Pros

I've really enjoyed working here. The Project Nation Days are a fantastic initiative—one paid day off every month on top of your regular leaves, which really helps with work-life balance. The work-from-home setup offers great flexibility. The 14th month pay is a much-appreciated financial boost. The leaders are helpful, accommodating, and very open, fostering a collaborative and supportive environment. Overall, it’s a workplace that values both productivity and employee well-being.

Cons

While the culture and benefits at Deltek are strong—including flexible work arrangements, wellness initiatives, and supportive leadership—the compensation could be more competitive. Many companies are now offering significantly higher base salaries and more attractive commission structures, especially for roles in Customer Success. As a result, compensation continues to be a key reason why some colleagues decide to move on, which can affect team continuity and retention. Personally, I’m still happy working at Deltek, but if compensation doesn't keep pace with market trends, it could eventually become a factor in my decision to stay long-term.
