Pros

If you like overtime, there is a lot of it, due to staff constantly quitting. If you don't care about benefits, pool staff status is great, you can make your own schedule.

Cons

Supervisors of direct care professionals at the Sweetwater RTC campus are poorly trained and extremely immature and unprofessional. Making a report to HR on unethical behavior will just get you retaliated against, and HR doesn't take your reports seriously. For the amount of baggage that comes with the job, compensation is not enough.

The children is pretty much it.

Cons

Too many to list! Overworked and underpaid Supervisors, mandatory overtime, favoritism, this place is a sham! It has the right idea, but the wrong people are running it! This is a place designed to help children, and they could care less! This organization cares more about money than helping these children get the successful treatment they need! Too many incidents swept under the rug. its a horrible place to work especially when you have a passion to help kids! You are subjected to a lot of risks and paid very minimal for doing so!

Pros

When you need a job quickly this is the place. Turnover is extremely high You can get hours from 7-3p, 3p-11, and overniight. All shifts are availabe.

Cons

The youth run the show. They have no accountability for their actions Direct Care Professionals are either fired or they quit. No one lasts as a DCP. Management does not support you. Lots of Cameras and unreasonable restraint techniques which leads to termination
