Pros

Good growth opportunity in the short term. Great benefits. Amazing peers. A handful of incredible leaders.

Cons

They preach the whole "We are a family" but unfortunately that is only true for a select few. If you are seeking a career of 5 years or more--this is not the place for you, anymore. You are replaceable especially when budget cuts come due to overhiring. Middle management in Member Services is incredibly sneaky and disloyal to their team of supervisors and senior guides, Change is constant even when replacing you for someone that can do what you do for 10k less.

Hi there, Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We value your perspective, and we’re grateful for your contributions during your time at Devoted. We're glad to hear that you appreciated the benefits and the people you worked alongside. However, we're sorry to hear that you felt disconnected from the company’s values and experienced challenges with management over time. While it’s our mission to make sure that our members are cared for and treated like family, it’s also part of our mission to make sure we’re reflecting the best care and attention to our internal teams as well. We take all feedback seriously, especially regarding transparency and employee relations and will make sure to disperse to the appropriate teams for review. Thanks again for taking the time to share with us your feedback. The People Team at Devoted

Pros

Full medical benefits to for employee and family

Cons

Compensation sucks for how much they expect and how perfect they want you to be. They lie. They say it’s not a call center environment and metrics don’t matter but it is and they do. They have started measuring all metrics and micromanage you until you’re insane and physically ill. They are extremely fake nice, smiling and giggling while writing you up for something ridiculous. They make the rules up as they go and they’ll find reasons to not give you a raise when it’s annual review time. They have specific meetings just to ask for input on how to improve the company for employee satisfaction but as soon as anyone has a suggestion, it’s met with 101 reasons why it won’t work or why they can’t- instead of caring and finding a way, I mean literally every suggestion is “awww yes I see where that would be nice but for xyz reasons it can’t be done. Next.” And then next person says something and it’s the same answer again. Also most of the managers are relatively young, inexperienced and don’t seem to know what they’re doing but they’re in the position because of who they know, not what they know. They also claim to promote from within. No. Not unless you are one of their friends. Very political. Just stay away if you want a job where you feel valued and not micromanaged and want managers that actually know what they’re doing instead of seeming like they’re playing career day in elementary school. And god forbid you need to use the restroom outside if your allotted time, you’ll be written up for it! Among anything else they can think of!

Hello! Thank you for taking the time to leave us this review and express your feelings about working as a Member Service Guide here at Devoted. We are pleased to hear you have experienced good things with our medical benefits offerings. We regret to hear that your overall experience, it seems, has been less than optimal. We value our Member Service Guides, and at the same time, we hold them to high standards as a group when it comes to metrics. You are crucial to holding up our mission of making sure our members are treated like family. We recognize these regulations and metrics do create some limitations within this role but have put together stress reduction programs to help Guides refuel that includes live and recorded classes and exercises. We’ve learned that 97% of class attendees agreed that the classes help them with their role and increased ease within their role. This program, along with our Lyra Benefit and the Calm App, are available to Member Service Guides at any time. We appreciate your feedback and sorry to hear this support did not work or speak to you. All employees, including Member Service Guides, are eligible to accrue up to 20 days (160 hours) of PTO per calendar year. This is prorated per employee based on the time of year that an individual starts with us. October through March, as mentioned above, is our busiest time of the year. So while we do have this generous PTO policy in place, it’s also our duty, as regulated by the federal government, to ensure we have the appropriate staff in place to manage call volume accurately and precisely. We do our best within the WFM and Member Service Guide organization to make sure there are buffers as we know life happens and want to do our best to accommodate the unplanned situations that arise. We’re sorry to hear this didn’t align for you at this time. Thank you again for taking the time to leave us feedback in a variety of areas. This information helps us to improve and hear all angles. We take strides to ensure our employees are heard, respected, and trusted. We recognize that all perspectives and experiences are different and we welcome the opportunity to continue the conversation. If you’d like to do so, please reach out to people@devoted.com. Thank you again, Devoted Health People Team

Pros

They entice you with a decent hourly wage and "free" heath benefits. Do not be fooled.

Cons

Bullies! Upper management is beyond horrific. I tried to go to them and they all ganged up on me.

Hi there, Thank you for taking the time to share your perspective and experience with us on the Member Outreach team. We’re sorry to hear the majority of your experience has not been positive and appreciate you taking the time to leave us some feedback. We hold our Member Outreach Specialist (MOS) team to high standards as a group when it comes to metrics. This not only allows us to offer superior service to our members, which is our mission, but also ensures that we are able to get Members in touch with the clinical care they may need. We recognize that the rapid growth of Devoted Medical programs results in quick changes and adjustments to our metrics and processes for the MOS teams at times. To help buffer this, we provide support to our team members through frequent 1:1s with Supervisors, shadowing with tenured Seniors, individual and group coaching sessions, and continuous education and training. We’re sorry to hear you did not have a good experience with our healthcare benefits offering. At Devoted Health, all employees are eligible to enroll and be covered in medical, vision and dental care starting on Day 1 of employment. We have two plans to choose from via a national carrier. One of these options provides no premiums to the employee. We pride ourselves on being able to offer incredibly rich medical benefits to our internal employees, so we are regret to hear you did not have this experience. While it’s our mission to make sure that our members are cared for and treated like family, it’s also our mission to make sure we’re reflecting the best care and attention to our internal teams as well. We know that each experience is different and we welcome the opportunity to hear more from you about your perspective so we can learn. If you’d like to continue the conversation, please reach out people@devoted.com. Thanks again, People Team @ Devoted Health
