Pros

Strong brand recognition in the digital security space Many talented and well-intentioned individual contributors Opportunity to work with large, global enterprise customers

Cons

Leadership—especially in Product and Marketing—lacks humility and accountability Leaders frequently deflect blame and throw teams under the bus to protect themselves Culture of fear and CYA (cover your a**) rather than collaboration or trust Priorities constantly change, often driven by optics or politics rather than strategy

Pros

There are some exceptional co-workers who help the company feel great and somewhat help overshadow many deficiencies it has.

Cons

Overhaul in sales leadership in my time there with many middle managers removed. The new direction to restructure the sales team fell flat and many people were cut while the remainder of the team struggled to meet new expectations.

Dear former DigiCert employee, Thank you for your feedback and for your two years as an account executive with DigiCert in Utah. We appreciate your recognition of the exceptional colleagues who made a positive impact during your tenure. Our people are the heart of DigiCert, and we are grateful that their support helped foster a great environment for you. We acknowledge the challenges you noted in Sales restructuring and the impact it had. Organizational changes can be difficult, but we do our best to navigate and we use the lessons from such experiences to inform how we approach future changes. Your feedback on improved transparency, hiring practices, and onboarding and training is valuable. Your input helps us to refine our processes and support. Thank you for sharing your experience, and please feel free to reach out to the DigiCert People Team if you have additional thoughts. Regards, DigiCert People Team

Pros

Nothing which is good here.

Cons

Office politics is worst than ever compared to other company. No appreciation for knowledge. Managers/VP talk behind each other and don’t know how to have a transparent communication. People here created a home company in lehi. VP hire people from his family in a team(no diversity)and when someone joins because of their own education and experience they feel inferior about it and question daily to check knowledge. Where they themself don’t understand or have any knowledge of current new technologies. I thought this underrated company which we don’t hear about (I didn’t atleast until I joined) would have this much politics and their family involvement.

Dear former DigiCert employee, We appreciate you taking the time to share your thoughts about your time at DigiCert. While we understand your frustrations about your time at DigiCert, we hope that you did have some quality and positive experiences. At DigiCert, we actively embody our CARE Culture to deliver for our customers, internally and externally. We encourage innovation, growth and development throughout the organization while stirring to offer employees a positive work-life balance. We also seek feedback from our employees -- including anonymous feedback – to learn where we fall short and how we can improve. It’s unfortunate that none of these efforts resulted in making your time at the company positive. We would invite you to speak with a member of the People Team so that we can gain more insight into the office politics, manager training and actions that you mentioned. While it cannot change your experience with the company, it could help us improve things for your former colleagues and future DigiCert employees. Regards, DigiCert People Team
