Pros

Digicert boasts an impressive array of innovative products, demonstrating a clear understanding of and aptitude for addressing future challenges within the realm of cyber security. Its best-in-class educational platform ensures that all representatives gain a comprehensive understanding of the wide range of products on offer. Furthermore, it provides all sales representatives with state-of-the-art sales training.

Cons

Digicert is currently in the process of developing a more sales-oriented culture. This initiative has only just begun and will take time to fully integrate into the company's fabric. A recent reorganization within the sales department, aimed at making Digicert more sales-focused and driving new sales, has led to some frustration within the sales team.

Dear current DigiCert employee, Thank you for your Glassdoor review. We appreciate you sharing your experience as a regional VP in Sales. It’s awesome that you see the products and services DigiCert provides as pros. And we appreciate you recognize the sales training provided. We understand the changes in Sales have created frustration and this can be seen as a con for the company. We are working to ensure all Sales and other employees understand the recent changes and have what they need to be successful. Please continue to share your thoughts and feedback with us. The People Team and leaders are always happy to hear your thoughts. DigiCert People Team

Steepest drop and decline in “Culture” I’ve seen in a long time.

Pros

All of my coworkers, and current management.

Cons

Salary: Currently paid WELL below market value for the position I am in & have brought this up MULTIPLE times to upper management with no movement, or even acknowledgement for over a year till I had to personally reach out to HR for a response. New employees hired on to double what veteran existing employees make. Spouse had to pick up a second full time job to compensate and make ends meet. New CEO & Leadership Direction: As opposed to continuing what worked in this past year, in which we made the most money we ever have, we had changes made that have been laughably questionable at best that have not given us the ability to maintain that level of success & then on top of that, our department have shouldered most of the blame for the lack of success. We were extremely Work-From-Home friendly, and have completely abandoned that with more and more required days and times in office, which has put a strain on my family specifically where my spouse as I said earlier had to pick up another full time job. Culture: As the title states, I have not seen such a steep, quick decline in morale and culture in a long time when new leadership has come in. It’s been made abundantly clear decision after decision that we are just “workers” and nothing more. If that isn’t the case, it certainly is how it feels and I am not alone in that.

Dear current DigiCert employees, Thank you for taking the time to provide a very open review of DigiCert. We hope that the overall thoughts on your four years at DigiCert are positive. But we acknowledge that you shared more negative than positive feedback, including your thoughts on a sharp decline in culture and wage disparities. Please know that we take this feedback very seriously. We work very hard on a CARE Culture, and we invite all feedback that will help us address any areas that can strengthen the culture and every employee’s experience and work. We ask that you reach out to a member of the DigiCert People Team and share more insights that will help us identify growth areas at DigiCert. We are eager to hear from you and to work with you. Dear current DigiCert employee, Thank you for sharing your experience as a commercial sales representative for DigiCert in Cape Town. We strive to provide an inclusive and collaborative culture that we hope is inviting and welcoming. We are glad to know you believe it is. We also are excited to see you enjoy the hybrid work environment. We believe the flexibility allows our employees the freedom to work from home as well as the opportunity to collaborate in office. We’re sorry to learn the online training didn’t provide you the level of support you felt you needed. We definitely will look at what opportunities exist to ensure training and onboarding provide the support necessary. If you have additional thoughts or concerns about how we can improve, please reach out to a member of the People team. We look forward to hearing from you. Regards, DigiCert People Team
