Pros

Co-workers are very supportive, and benefits are pretty good. Direct supervisors usually know how rough things can get over the phone and are very supportive. Promotions and transfers mostly happen from inside the company.

Cons

Upper management has serious issues in the Information Center, and non-frontend departments refuse to do work and consistently get away with it. Bringing up problems to management professionally or giving new agents advice on some of the more difficult issues gets you labeled as "bad for morale" and written up. The only way issues get resolved is by mentioning them to Jim himself, then things get solved very quickly. Pay is also very low compared to others in the industry, and sales is far over-emphasized considering the mantra of "our only goal is to help the Members".

Pros

Good benefits, pretty good culture at least among non-management level employees.

Cons

Management is very hit or miss depending on department. The manager in Risk Management is awful. He hasn’t been there 2 full years and has been through at least 3 people in the same position. Also, the annual review process underwent changes last year and most non-managers were very unhappy.

Pros

Good amount of vacation and sick time and awesome cafeteria.

Cons

Over the top micromanaging. Supervisors that are not fit to lead. The lying and backstabbing. People are treated differently meaning while some break the rules, others are held accountable. This company looks for reasons to fire you constantly and it will stress you out. The company tells you about how easy it is to move up within company but its just about work place politics and who you hang out with. Not about the quality of work. This company will threaten to fire you. I was threatened to be fired over printing the handbook which they didn't provide. I had to fight DCU in unemployment court and won. They lied about our separation and the reasons which caused me to wait a year for my benefits which I did eventually get because I beat them in unemployment court. This company targets those who think outside the box and offer new ideas and speak up when somethings bothering you. This company wants to hire robots that don't try and better the company. Everyone is just a number. Stay away. So many peyot people went through issues like I have. When calling lawyers about my situation they laughed because evey month they are getting calls similar to mine about the horrendous situations this company puts people in.
