      Pros

      - Great technology team, handling 100M+ active users with less than 100 engineers! Every engineer has a considerable impact. - Business doing extremely well! - Very transparent management. We have access to all the financial/growth data and the exec team reviews it periodically with the entire company. The CEO answers employee questions/concerns at our weekly all-hands. - Remote friendly! I onboarded remotely very smoothly. - Awesome WFH perks. (desk fund, wellness fund, headphone reimbursement etc..) - Great collaboration culture and very helpful teammates. - Ability to cash out equity regularly even though the company isn't public.

      - No 401k match - Workforce not very diverse

      Pros

      Work/life balance, competitive compensation, good benefits, friendly vibe, leadership that listens, nimble during COVID shutdown, clubs that DO things (Terrace House club watches Terrace House on the huge projector at night), great snacks.

      Pros

      Discord has a clear set of values that are truly implemented throughout the company - these values enable each team to be owners, make great decisions, question the company direction, learn and help others grow all while being compassionate for one another. I'm really impressed

      Cons

      The company is still early/small and figuring out the future destination which means priorities and objectives may change - if they do it will be done transparently and with great reasons behind it.
