      You at least always get paid

      Cons

      Even when you are the best performer In the store across multiple stores you'll still get skipped over for promotions and when you start getting a bad attitude towards it they turn it around blame you. There is no care for the employees at this company anymore, not since Bruce died. Even if your full time good luck living on your own and buying a house they don't and won't pay you enough to even do that. You will have almost no social life so say good bye to any relationships

      Strong company culture -hosts several annual events to celebrate employees (pre-pandemic), employees are great to work with and welcoming, overall company provides plenty of career opportunities to explore

      Cons

      benefits tend to lag trends in the market (i.e. vacation time, holidays, short-term disability, paid paternal leave does not exist - even though the are a "family friendly company). Compensation also tends to lag the market. The company lacks programs that support diversity, equity and inclusion. There is also a lack of gender diversity in management/ senior leadership throughout the organization

      Pros

      There are still people around that truly want to keep the culture around that Mr Halle started so many years ago.

      Cons

      Unfortunately, we are no longer being led by people that have made it up through the ranks in the stores. We didn’t transition from a small company to a large company well which was one of Bruce’s concerns.
