Good company, but behind the times.

Pros

Had a great culture, small company feel, in a larger corp. Changes in the last year have effected this. Very accommodating with to people with families. Direct managers are very supportive and motivating. I always feel like I can speak my mind and be heard by them.

Cons

Always chasing the competition. Any opportunities to make the company different than competitors are usually shot down, just to constantly be 2 steps behind the industry leaders. Executives seem to have no real grasp as to what is holding the sales teams back from succeeding. Funneling money into Microsoft products for years that we still haven't actually seen launch. All the while, comp plans change for the worse annually. There is also no real room to growth. It's a great place to learn about the industry, take your knowledge and use it as leverage with a new potential career.

Thank you for taking the time to share these concerns. I am delighted to hear that you have had a good relationship with your manager, and that you have experienced positive support in your work-life balance. Thank you also for recognizing our effort to innovate beyond the industry with our Microsoft partnership -- as you have noted, that product suite has been a sizable investment for our company. We are confident that it will pay dividends for all of us in the long run. Your other comments indicate that you have some suggestions regarding product and operations that can make a difference in our business. While I do hope you shared them in our company survey, I would be glad to hear them directly and share them with the leadership. Please feel free to reach out to me at jennifer.sanford@drivedominion.com.

Pros

Had decent management, once upon a time. Was a fun place to work, with the potential for growth within the company.

Cons

Management has no clue how to manage. They dont listen to or care about employees, only concerned with numbers and forcing us to beg, borrow and steal DrivingSales reviews. Absolutely no respect for anyone but themselves.

Pros

Kevin, Jason, Andy, Cutter, Johnny, Jeff, a few other passionate, inspirational, and talented people,

Cons

No career paths, dying tech stack, took away benefits even after senior management signed off on tuition reimbursement and told me to sign up for classes, enroll, and they'd reimburse my tuition per the employee handbook as long as I made a 3.0. After I came to them with Straight A's Dominion denied reimbursement citing "it was not necessary for work." AFTER MANAGEMENT SIGNED OFF ON IT, costing me about $24,000 in graduate school expenses. Dying tech stack, no career path, no encouragement to learn new technologies and actually help shape the future of the product and the company. Forced employees to take days off unpaid because other Dominion companies were losing money. Nobody at the time was open to listening to qualified and passionate people despite the many pleas of the founder, the employees, and the senior staff who built the company from the ground up. The majority of the talent left in a mass exodus leaving poor, loyal employees behind to try and manage the sinking ship with bogus leadership from all levels. Dominion Executive came to Dealerskins and outed former employees as "Traitors" in an all-office meeting where he literally passed out "WANTED" posters with former employees pictures on it calling them out by name and sending employees running out in tears. There was also an "Us" vs "Them" attitude between production and tech support and the people in production literally would talk about tech support as if they were stupid. There was also a literal wall between the two but it was much more than that.
