Pros

I cannot think of a single PRO.

Cons

Complete mess. Very condescending and arrogant employees from every single person I interacted with there (10+). I worked there for 8 hours, realized it was a terrible company with rude people, and ended up losing unemployment benefits which ultimately cost me $2500!!!!!!!!!! One of the worst experiences of my professional life. DO NOT APPLY TO WORK HERE. EVER!

Pros

I don't know any pros about the company. I guess I could say they had a holiday party and that was a great idea.

Cons

This was my first job out of college and it lasted 9 days. I don't think anyone can fully learn a system in 9 days, but I was let go due to "Not learning the system fast enough." Seems like an excuse to me, because when I was here I was given other duties (not associated with my job) to complete while I was supposed to be learning the application. I would be naive to say I didn't know what was going on. They were behind on work, brought me in to complete that work, and once I was done they didn't need me anymore. I don't think anything else could explain why I was brought into the HR office right after I completed the "side" tasks and was finally ready to start learning my help desk roles. Also, they let me go the week of Christmas...happy holidays! I do have to say that getting let go was a blessing. I was able to find a job paying a lot more money than they were paying.

Stay Away from this Company

Pros

Direct access to the Executive Management but not helpful

Cons

Company doesn't care about their employees, even though they keep on using management tactics to motive people and provide them false hope on improvements. Few problems observed while working with the company: 1. Company treats development resources as cheap labor and treat them like robots who works 24/7 without a break. This may have came from their culture background as a company 2. Company throws every problem at development and account them responsible for every failure in the company instead of identifying root-cause of these problems. 3. Favoritism is in the blood of the company and ignore top talent and doesn't invest to build their teams. 4. No Career track If you can sell your soul then you should think about working for the company.

DrFirst Response
13y
DrFirst cares deeply for our employees' health and well-being. We also strongly believe that our company operates like a team, no one is the star player, and no one takes the burden of all the responsibilities. The only way a team can win is if everyone is playing together, utilizing each team members strengths and accounting for each other’s weaknesses. We also have many managers in the company who started out in entry-level and internship positions because they have shown leadership in finding solutions and not dwelling on problems. Our open door policy is our effort to ensure that all employees can be proactive and have the opportunity to be heard.
