Pros

DrFirst has a a hyper expanding client base and is THE top leading eprescribing company in the industry. DrFirst is now more of a "Think-Tank" than ever before. New ideas, creativity, and entrepreneurship is heavily encouraged. So much so that the company CEO will sit down with you to discuss anything top-of-mind. Compensation for the company is above the norm and they focus on hiring and retaining talent rather than burning through their talent. Everyone is given the chance to succeed. Company leadership is committed to being the best and being innovators in the industry. If you are detail oriented with ability to communicate effectively and hit deadlines, you will thrive in this environment. There is an open door policy for all of Senior Management making it easy to make suggestions or even share concerns.

Cons

Time difference with the Mesa, Arizona office makes communication with the West Coast office difficult, but as long as you are flexible this is no real issue

Pros

I started at DrFirst on a temporary contract and didn’t expect to work here longer than the length of that contract. However, after working here a few months and seeing the opportunities for both individual and professional growth I wanted to stick around. I’ve worked at DrFirst for about two years now and I am very satisfied with the experience I have gained. If you are driven, DrFirst is a company that allows you to display your willingness to take on new responsibilities. Regardless of your area of expertise, DrFirst is a company that gives you the chance to showcase the talents you have and gain knowledge in other areas. The dynamic environment, where no two days are the same, always offers a chance to take a leadership role on a project or task. In my time at DrFirst I have had the opportunity to take on new challenges and step outside my comfort zone to learn new things. I have learned to better manage both tasks and people because of the guidance offered to me by management. New and creative ideas for improvements to products or internal processes are taken seriously. I have been able to present new ideas without fear of criticism. DrFirst is definitely a company that encourages innovative, new ideas. If you are creative and driven and looking for a company where you can grow both personally and professionally DrFirst is a place for you.

Cons

Sometimes there can be a lot of red tape to get through to adjust your hours if you want to work extra one day to get off early on another.
