Pros

Tuition Reimbursement, Good selection of schedules, decent pay, lots of overtime, sales, emloyees in other centers are friendly

Cons

Sales, lots of overtime, you only talk to people who have money issues: the poor, dumb or sociopathic, management is petty, high school click vibe and nepotism, your manager can prevent you from moving up to another job in the company even if someone else wants to give you a promotion or better job.

Really consider if this is for you

Pros

Depending on manager, the 1 day off during the week helps with home life.

Cons

Never let management get the idea you are great at your job. You will be hounded constantly and pulled into a lot of projects. You are expected to be "in the area" during outages even if you have no work scheduled to be done. The stress can be too much at times. Feeling of no way to disconnect.

Like Working for a Government Agency

Pros

Good benefits; good co-workers who are typically hard-working team players who care about doing the right things. CEO says the right things regarding strategy, customers, environment, community.

Cons

From a cultural and technological perspective, company is like a government agency: slow to change, tactical rather than strategic, led by managers rather than leaders. Communications are typically one-way, rather than two-way dialogue. Lack of strong succession planning and talent development internally; lack of diversity in talent from external resources.
