Pros

Excellent people, good pay for the region. Interesting work.

Cons

Left leaning culture politically, no room for dissent. Tenure and convention rule the day rather than logic and merit.

Pros

I would say that the benefits like retirement and health insurance are amazing! The pay is ok.

Cons

The trainers and supervisors are some of the mist uneducated people I have ever come in contact with. They talk to you like you’re a child, and their tone is constantly threatening.”as if I’m scared” They talk down to you, my supervisor was a habitual line crosser! The whole QA thing was a joke, the want perfect calls with abusive and entitled customers. Please don’t work here, you will regret it. They make you work constantly depending on weather conditions but they have a automated and online system to report outages. There is no need to have an actual person answering that call because there is no difference in the information you receive via online or the automated system. Then the customers are expecting you to work a miracle by having more and when you don’t here comes the insults.

Pros

Job Stability Flex Time (Hybrid schedule, (Office and Remote), 4-10 Hr Work Week)

Cons

Work Overload - Number of staff has been diminished greatly. Company is not hiring employees to fill attrition positions. Work load is being placed on employees who are left. Large Amount of Overtime is expected for exempt employees with no compensation. No professional Training. Training budgets have been slashed. No work life balance, especially in outage season.
