Pros
- easy work if you have thick skin. It's just tedious and kind of boring. - Make more than minimum wage from the get go is nice if you are you know... unskilled (!) - If you want a part time job (student or whatnot) this is where to go - Alright co-workers, if you don't like a co-worker it's not like other work places were you have to deal with them all day
Cons
They treat their employees like morons, you have to ask your supervisor to go to the bathroom (like High School), can't read a book between calls or even scribble in a notebook. Just a lot of condescension, supervisors are immature and don't know how to do much more then check people in/out, most of them chat and hang out for most of the shift instead of doing anything else than being a human punch in clock. As far as working late you really won't know until your shift ends just how long you are working which makes it hard for people who get rides (pick me up uhhhh 9ish?). Finally for a company that is constantly understaffed they sure do find creative ways to fire people. Lately they have gotten the fear over ACA finding all sorts of ways to fire people who work 30 hours or more a week, anything from making employees resubmit to background checks (I guess the first one just wasn't through enough!) to just giving the boot. The ironic thing is in order to avoid paying people full time wages they fire a bunch of people and then those who were solid part timers end up working full time with extended shifts and extra weekend work.
