Pros

Very professional project management teams

Cons

Extremely stressful environment, tons of politics, culture of "hide issues under the rug", very inefficient way of doing business, bad internal tools, mediocre management at all levels, no career path, very average salaries, no employees' respect and no investment in them. Overall the company feels old fashioned and stagnant.

Pros

The direct colleagues you work with are great and you will learn a lot during your time here.

Cons

Dynata has gone through many mergers and acquisitions and through them all, they have not been able to keep up with the growth that comes with it. They are constantly throwing on “band-aids” as fixes to issues and expect their lower-level employees to deal with the brunt of it. Management in general has changed for the worse and it’s clear that this is at the root of the issues Dynata faces. Their major shift in priorities has caused a misalignment in goals across departments, making it that much harder to reach a satisfactory collective end goal. It’s also created an environment where there is no incentive in being a top performer with top performers continually being put on the same pedestal as the lower performers. It’s also led to employees getting mounds of work thrown on them with high expectations of how that work is getting done, only for there to be no acknowledgement of a job well done when those expectations are met and exceeded. In the end, there are no amount of gift cards or free lunches that can make up for how underpaid and undervalued employees are feeling. It’s become a thankless job with many acknowledging this by going elsewhere.

Thank you for your feedback and for your time with Dynata. It is great to hear that you learned so much and enjoyed connecting with your colleagues. After a merger, it often takes companies time to get our bearings as we navigate blending company cultures, processes, and procedures. We understand your frustration that comes along with this growth and change. Maintaining a culture of appreciation and inclusion is our top priority. We have an annual compensation process to ensure that salaries are competitive and reward performance. Additionally, we encourage peer-to-peer and manager-peer recognition through our global employee recognition program, which allows for both monetary and non-monetary awards. We are sorry that this was not reflective of your experience at Dynata. Best of luck in your future endeavors.

Pros

None except the flexibility of making your own schedule.

Cons

Everything! Very unprofessional company that expects way too much for way too little hourly wage. You get a few hours of training that is it and are expected to start with perfect scores for every quota. They just toss you into the job with a crappy few hours of pointless training. The actual job was not bad but most calls either go right to voicemail or the people hang right up. I also got several numbers that identified Dynata as a scam and then disconnected me. I had a few technical issues and forget getting any real help. They will give you no chance and terminate you if you don't make your quota in the first week. I only took the job because I needed a very flexible schedule but for 10/hr it is a waste of time. These people should not be in buisness and need to be shut down! The entire time you are trying to do your job you are getting harassing text messages from managers claiming you are not getting enough completed surveys. You are treated as a robot not a human! BEWARE DYNATA IS A DISGRACE!

Thank you for the feedback; we’re sorry you had such a negative experience working in one of our call centers. We set high expectations for all of our employees, from meeting quotas to being a quick study, and although the training period is brief, there are many channels you can turn to for help and guidance. Completing surveys is how Dynata gets paid, and in turn how we pay our employees, and while feeling harassed is never okay (and you should speak to your HR rep), managers are merely trying to achieve company goals. We wish you luck in the future.
