Pros

-Flexible vacation time -Flexible hours -Knowledgeable employees. -The pay could be worse but it certainly could be a lot better.

Cons

-Incredibly lazy management - most do absolutely nothing all day while you toil over mounds of work. -Horrible benefits - $280/mo for the cheapest plan. -No advancement - the only way you'll get a promotion is if your manager dies or you marry into the EMSL family. -Raises are usually a lousy 2-3% a year. If you make $15-$18/hr, that's like .20 - .30 cents. -Nepotism is unreal. All the higher ups have their husbands, wives, daughters and sons in high paying positions. -Questionable safety guidelines for a hazardous environment. -I'm yet to meet a manager who deserves their job.

Pros

The pay is okay. Paid time off for full-time employees. Benefits available.

Cons

That being said, the employee pays close to 70% for their medical benefits. You have to beg to get get time off. The company's business model make sense as long as you think of it as a Third World sweat shop. The more work you do, the more they pile it on. They thrive on burning out their employees because they can just hire a new person that doesn't know any better. There is absolutely no way to advance within the company unless you are related to someone or are a favored pet of a manager. They say you can cross train to earn a raise but you are never given the time and resources to do so.No pay raises for the past year and half, firings and reduction in hours at the beginning of 2010, but Corporate emailed pictures of the brand new corporate headquarters with "gold chairs" in the break room and, of course, new equipment .

Pros

It is very easy to get time off at this company. Also they have flexible hours which you can swap around days.

Cons

The environment itself feels dirty and unsafe because of the chemicals. You always leave smelling bad. Also very little reward for working hard.
