Pros

- Culture is mainly relaxed - Good for teaching you basics of working in business/corporate environment - Small company, easier to be recognized and heard

Cons

- Pay is below average for similar jobs - Make empty promises about company changes - Not ideal for most people looking to move up within the same company

Pros

Strong company to work for. Great people work there and are very loyal. Strong partnerships in the space and a well-respected company. You'll learn a ton about payments!

Cons

Lacking innovation even though it's in the name... This company will likely suffer in the coming years as competitors are miles ahead of them, but they don't see it. Management will pretend to listen to your ideas/suggestions but never take you seriously. You will get excited about the commission plans but likely make almost nothing. Compliance is hyper strict, and it seems like they enjoy shutting down your deals. Brown nosers flourish here. Management is highly underqualified. All employees don't seem to realize they would be able to make double their salary elsewhere. You'll never get a raise in your base salary despite superior performance. Never. Ever. The account management team that handles your accounts after you close them are way overworked, because they refuse to hire the right amount of people. Since they are overworked, there's a good chance your client will leave because they didn't get serviced correctly. Good salespeople tend to leave with a "this was a mistake" mentality after a year. They are very very cheap when it comes to spending money, even if it will make them more money in the long run. The marketing department isn't knowledgeable on how to drive leads into the business. Lots of manual processes that could easily be fixed but nobody takes action. Overall, a nightmare of a company to work for but you don't realize it until you leave. It's a slow burn.
