Pros

Company has the ability to change its style of leadership.

Cons

Company lacks true leadership. Leaders have willing followers. Edgewell has managers....employees have to follow them, but do so out of obligation.

Pros

-Flexible Hours -Great Co-workers -Good Environment -Ok Pay

Cons

This is a company who used to be great, since they diverged from Energizer, they have been afloat, waiting for another company to come in an buy them. They're aimless, goalless, clueless. Everything is inefficient, be it meetings, emails, training (completely lacking), and procedures. Despite being around for 85+ years, this company is still "winging it" and "trying to figure it out". They snuff out new ideas and change since it's "too difficult" or "too time consuming" The document control is dumpster fire and the amount of redundant forms and paperwork is a joke. The company doesn't know how to find itself and from what they show their employees, they don't want too. The benefits are a joke! With a limited coverage at an insane price, premiums are low, but deductibles and out-of-pockets are $6,000-12,000+. Bottom line, this company is like a chicken with it's head cut off, running around trying to figure out what is going on. They are slowly dying, allowing other companies to surpass them in the process. It's sad, as Edgewell (formally Schick) was once something great. This company will either implode or, to their desire, someone else buys their brands, laying off all of their employees and closing the facility in Milford.

Pros

The company has no place to go but up on most things like culture, systems, resources, processes, etc. There are always companies out there that are worse.

Cons

The company is having a hard time figuring out what to do and the leaders are out of touch with the employees which is sad to see. Higher levels seem to be continuously filled with non 'people-persons' who don't value inspiration. There have been so many changes in a short period of time with both people and processes that no one knows where or who to go to. There seems to be a new system or process that is rolled out at least weekly and people no longer bother trying to keep up since it will change again once the last version is discovered to not work. It is hard for those who have been around for a few years to see how the company has deteriorated. It used to be a company that was proud of its culture and unique group of talented people but it is now filled with no one who knows if the other person is a contractor, consultant or an actual employee. I guess a pro could be that at the rate the employees are leaving, and if the company starts having any luck filling the many positions, there will no longer be reference for what the company was and only what it currently is.
