Pros

Pay is alright, entertaining group outings, access to discounted company products for employees, 401K, dental, vision, medical, credit monitoring, legal coverage, etc.

Cons

Contradictory management, goals and vision. It is clear management doesn't know how to provide guidance. How can they possibly lead when they can't even agree on where to go?

Hi - Thank you for taking the time to leave a review of your time here at Edgewell. I am happy that we have engaged you with our culture, perks and benefits, but I am sorry that you have had a negative experience with management. We provide our leaders with a number of tools to ensure that they are operating in-line with the company goals and vision and are well-versed in management best-practices to optimally manage their team/s. If you feel that your manager is not aligned to this, always feel free to discuss your situation with an HR Business Partner. Thank you for the advice. We are aligning communications to our long-term plan and have actively been improving strategies based on direct colleague feedback, which you may have noticed at our most recent global town hall meeting. Please don't feel that your ideas are being dismissed, we encourage all colleagues to provide us with open and honest feedback and do our best to adjust our approach to align with the needs of our colleagues, as appropriate.

Pros

It's a paycheck in a good part of town.

Cons

Moody management. We never know what we're going to get. No money invested into employee training unless it's something we find and it's free. Outsourced as much as possible in IT and it's a huge mess. Work hours and expectations are unreasonable. Pay is not as good as what other companies offer for the same work.

A Challenge

Pros

Good brands, summer Fridays, global exposure, (some) good people. It is a challenge to think of many more pros than this.

Cons

Disconnected management, no alignment where critically needed, highly political and hierarchical, lower than average pay, poor medical benefits, no career progression

Thanks for sharing your experience. I’ll start with the positives – I’m pleased to see that you were happy with our globally-recognized brands, year-round flextime policy, and your many great colleagues during your time at Edgewell. I’m sorry that we haven’t been able to fully engage you in these other aspects. After the split from Energizer, we had a lot of work to do to create our own identity – in our processes, ways of working and culture. Since the time that this review was written, colleagues have reported seeing many positive improvements in morale, culture, and benefits offerings.
