Pros

18th floor downtown Raleigh was a cool view. Lunches twice a week.

Cons

Literally everything else. This company is run by selfish people with no class or character. You are just a number here. The Raleigh office opened 2 years ago and the CEO has yet to visit it. They fired half their sales team over a conference call last week. There are no leads, there is no marketing, no BDR assistance for commercial sales. Ha and what training? This company is a joke and should be avoided at all costs. The 4.4 rating is a scam. The CEO asks his employees to write good reviews. I don’t even want to waste any more of my time on this company, but I had to do my small part in warning people. Even if I keep one person from applying here, I will have done a service.

Pros

Good, solid product. Clearly development is a functional team. Support and Customer Success are focused and dedicated to satisfying customers.

Cons

The Sales team is dysfunctional. Most of the Sales and Marketing teams don't understand the product and they don't even use it for work. Sales leadership is focused on forcing the team to write positive reviews, like on Glassdoor, then trying to address the very obvious problem of an Enterprise sales group that can't sell. They need to control the company reviews because people are running for the door (about 8 VPs have left in 2 years) and they can't recruit good talent. It is too late to turn the ship around. The space is too crowded to make horrible mistakes and not learn from them. Save yourself the energy and pass on Egnyte.

Pros

Coworkers, $75 cell phone reimbursement, catered lunch 2 days a week.

Cons

You have to pay to park in the deck, you won’t be making the commission that is promised, no 401k match, no real work from home except if there is a pandemic.
