Pros

The pay was decent and the facility was clean. There is not much more to say about the pros

Cons

The atmosphere was toxic. Their was a weekend superbisor who pretty much talk down to staff especially the blacks. People were constantly getting write ups and black people usually quit because of being treated badly. Management did not listen to there complaints so it was like a revolving door. New employees every week.

Pros

good salary, work from home

Cons

frequent surprise layoffs, run by nurses with little managerial experience, little consistency or communication between departments, impulsive decision making, lousy benefits especially health insurance and PTO. If the name of the game is saving costs why does the CEO make over 13 million dollars annually? Each day I would speak to people on fixed incomes who are unable to afford the cost of rising premiums and to direct care workers living in constant fear of losing their jobs.

Pros

Competitive pay Work from home Annual bonuses Benefits

Cons

No upward mobility. They will have job postings and if you apply, you either never hear back from anyone (good or bad) or it's immediately rejected because they already had someone in mind or the job wasn't really available. Management is one of the worst I've experienced. They demand disclosure of PHI when it's not necessary (ILLEGAL). They throw lower level employees under the bus if contractual obligations are not being met. They speak in generalizations and avoid answering any questions directly, even if the questions should have direct answers. If you are not their direct report, they ignore or flat out refuse to meet with you. They, genuinely, do not have any idea what to do in this changing healthcare landscape or just don't care.
