Pros

None, unless you are very passionate about education

Cons

Management and CEO do not care about employees. They place no emphasis on developing people and provide them no tools/training to succeed. They put their sales team in a position of having little to no resources, training, or time to build their book of business and then fire them for "not meeting goals". They don't give you the time it takes to build relationships (which is a necessary part for the sales cycle, especially for new business). They boast being a start-up in the hiring process, but then when you're in the door they say they've been around for years and are a leader in the industry (which one is it??). When people are terminated for no reason management uses the "fast-paced, start-up" culture as to why they can't invest in time for training, when they really just don't care about people. Terminating someone for no reason a month into their employment during a global pandemic is nothing short of evil and it happens here ALL THE TIME.

Actually LOLing at the fake positive reviews

Pros

Good pay, good teammates, snacks in office, hybrid, Voyia <3

Cons

Bad product. Quantity over quality mindset. They had us stand around to do a call and response of Shaily’s 10 commandments of effective elevators. It gave cult vibes. One of those 10 rules are “company over self”. After establishing the level of care they wanted employees to have for Elevate, they laid off 47 people and made remaining employees take on huge amounts of work. They gave zero clarity on how or why decisions were being made, showing they didn’t care at all about their employees and their livelihood. Everyone I’ve spoken to that survived the lay off expressed chaos and stress so I find the recent good reviews incredibly comical. You can tell they are all written by management as the summarized points are all written in the same voice and format and overuse exclamation points.

Negative and Toxic Culture- STARTS WITH CEO

Pros

The employees REALLY want Elevate K-12 to succeed. We believe in the mission and our impact. We work hard and take on extra to get the job done! Associate level employees work together and collaborate. We try our best to make a bad situation better.

Cons

The environment is toxic and it is because of the CEO. She has openly swore at employees and berated them in front of others. She is immature in her actions and retaliations when confronted or challenged. She leaves no room to allow for questions or understanding. She is a dictator that will bring down her company. The hope is the board removes her from her position. I only gave a 1 rating because I had to choose it--it is a zero or lower.
