Pros

-This is best group of coworkers I have ever worked with, I would have genuinely been friends with everyone on my team, even if we weren't working together. -Hybrid schedule works really well. -Good base pay -The company has a great mission trying to assist education.

Cons

-The company is over engineering their sales strategy and tried to implement four different strategies in less than 6 months. -The unlimited PTO is not very unlimited, whenever you want to take time off your quota is dangled over your head. -Any concerns about company's management, operations, or strategies were met with the phrase "Have a growth mindset," and then never addressed. -Management has said on multiple occasions that "If sales isn't for you we will find another place for you in the company." However, other employees have tried to move laterally but only one employee has ever transferred departments. -C-Suit leadership is a revolving door. -Interdepartmental communication does not exist and the product suffers as a result. -All company outings and parties are focused around drinking making it very hard for sober employees at company events. -The CEO is constantly comparing Elevate to Uber and Amazon, because all companies are "hyper growth". The goal of being hyper growth is often put before the mission of the company. -There is no 401K match, despite management saying they're working on it.

Nothing elevating about this

Pros

Whoever is writing so many positive reviews is clearly internal and obsessed with making Glassdoor look good. There are not many people in this company, so having so many reviews is clearly "made up". Also, when every review has the term "high growth" or "mission oriented", it's pretty obvious it is a coordinated effort, this should say a lot. Watch these terms stop going forward now.

Cons

Before joining any company, a candidate should reach-out to former employees...do yourself a favor with this one and do just that...you won't regret it.

Pros

The people (not including leadership) and opportunity to make $. Potential to positively impact students. Flexible schedule and unlimited PTO.

Cons

First, PLEASE do not believe all of the positive reviews. It is clear they were published in response to the mass layoffs that could have been avoided in December. The voice in each phony positive review is the exact same and clearly written by the same person. Second, the level of toxicity and unfairness on the sales team is truly deplorable due to mismanagement. The team was formerly lead by several leaders, but now is "lead" by just one person, and it's their way or the highway. Favorites are chosen and if you don't fall into the favorite cateogry, you are treated unfairly and have far less opportunities than the chosen few. There is a serious lack of support because some sales reps no longer have a manager to report to. This company has grown too fast and there has been little to no change in the product or quality of instruction. As a sales rep, you'll encounter more unhappy clients than satisfied ones due to this unresolved issue. This company states their mission is to bring equity to education, but really it's to achieve unattainable revenue goals and make a ton of money regardless of the negative impact on students and districts. You'll also be given a goal that is unattainable. Expect that goal to the changed mid-quarter without any reasoning behind it. The CEO came up with their own "values" for this company and asked everyone in the office one day to gather around a table that they stood on top of while we repeated after her as they recited the "values." One of those values was "COMPANY BEFORE SELF." This was later revised but those words, most likely due to HR intervention, but couldn't be more true- they will not care about you. She meant those words.
