-The business is constantly evolving and pivoting to meet the needs of their employees and the students they serve. -The people are great. The mission brings everyone together to work hard for an amazing cause! -The Chicago office is beautiful and the hybrid work schedule is nice to have. -Leadership cares about the employee experience.

Cons

Things move quickly at Elevate. Employees have to be prepared to pivot and change gears to meet the needs of the business and the schools.

Some great employees but company doesn't care about them

Pros

The remote work had flexibility and I worked with some awesome people.

Cons

The company and CEO claim to care about their employees but laid off a bunch of the employees last year right before Christmas with literally an hour's notice. Higher management micromanages even lower level mangers and does not allow for outside opinions event though they claim to. Teachers and Coaches are contractors and have no benefits, yet are expected to go above and beyond. Managers are worked to the bone, while being unappreciated, to the point that many that weren't laid off have quit.

Dynamic Work Environment: Elevate K-12 offers a dynamic work environment where growth and learning are continually emphasized and developers have access to a variety of projects across multiple POD’s, which enriches their professional experience. Strong Emphasis on Work-Life Balance: Flexible Schedules and Remote Work Options are available. The company hired a strong leadership team to ensure good relationships are built across the teams. Gyanism & Collaborative Culture: With introduction of “Gyanism” company is building excellent work environments, professional career development, Supportive Teams, and Cross-functional Collaboration.

Cons

The hiring process for new developers can be improved, Only DS will not be going to solve problem alone. Also, the ratio for both frontend and backend tech stack should be addressed.
