Not bad if you like working for someone who is constantly changing goals

Great team of people to work with.

Cons

Leadership was severely lacking. Owner of the company has a death grip on anything to do with moving the company forward and had forced out several designers and refused to take any constructive criticism without taking it personally. Would constantly switch hats so you never knew if you were talking to a coworker, a developer or the boss who would fire you in a huff. Massive mood swings and preferential treatment of certain employees made for a fearful and sometimes hostile environment.

Awesome people. The company has great potential. Casual office with darts and fooseball. Some autonomy depending on your position. Decent benefits. Work from home policy. Unlimited PTO.

Cons

Leadership lacks direction and strategy. How much you work is valued more than the results. No long term goals with measurable KPIs.

Small company, growing, decent product.

Cons

Technical leadership had poor understanding of design patterns and higher level engineering concepts. Worse is the unwillingness to let go of the steering column for even the smallest of tasks along with the always-delayed need to reduce code complexity. Company insisted they couldn't afford better pay, yet unwilling to negotiate on terms of more vacation or flex-time.
