Pros

? No need to save the expense receipt for something less than $5 lol

Cons

Anyone below director level is treated terribly. Gaslighting from the top down. Internal processes never reviewed, unattainable goals set with declining technical support - I could go on

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. While your experience doesn't reflect the Emerald we strive to be, we truly value your perspective. Our company has undergone significant changes and transformation recently, including restructuring, which we recognize can be challenging. However, our CEO and leadership team have made it a priority to foster a people-first culture; one we're genuinely proud of, and this commitment is reflected in the strong relationships and collaboration we see across all teams.

Pros

-Good for entry level positions -Great co-workers, some really talented, dedicated people

Cons

-COVID impact on the live events industry -Upper management does not understand what is important to employees. They are out of touch and most of them are in over their heads. Morale is very low. So many people have resigned. -Pay at Emerald is below average, unless you are hired in at the corporate level or part of an acquisition. -Sales commission programs are mismanaged. -Management seems intent on hiring from the outside vs looking at existing talent to develop and promote. -Tools/resources are limited and out-dated. -So many EVPs/SVPs/VPs, not enough staff to do the actual work. -Human Resources is non-responsive, inconsistent and does not address employee concerns.
