Pros

If you like helping people find jobs and improve their lives, this is a good place to do it.

Cons

Pay is low compared to the amount of work you are expected to do. Seems like upper management gets a large amount of the benefits/bonus but the team is doing the grunt work.

Pros

-The people were good to work with for the most part. -Hybrid or completely work from home options were available -The job itself (before all the change) was not too bad

Cons

-Hours were tough, especially our Wednesdays (work from 8-9 am until finished submitting all payroll, which a lot of times was 7:30 pm or later) -With the hours and what was expected, pay is too low -The payroll coordinator department went through a huge shift where many employees were let go (some of them just started) and part of our job role was outsourced to other employees based out of India. That change was handled extremely poorly and all the coordinators had to take all the heat from branch managers. -Overall, I found another job with better pay, hours, and I was able to get out in the middle of all the mess the department was in.

Unfortunately, Employbridge has been affected by ongoing economic uncertainty and decreased demand for temporary workers. As a result, we have had to reduce our total permanent workforce. These decisions were not taken lightly, and we acknowledge and appreciate the dedication and contributions made by our Employbridge colleagues who were impacted by these reductions. Thank you.

Pros

The best thing about working at Employbridge was my direct manager and the PTO plans.

Cons

When I first joined EmployBridge in 2022, the work-life balance and company culture were outstanding. However, everything changed drastically in 2023. The company’s focus shifted away from valuing employees and talent. They started prioritizing numbers, cost-cutting, and deflecting instead. I survived multiple rounds of layoffs starting in March 2024, but the constant uncertainty created a stressful work environment. There was no merit increase for the year, yet employees were expected to take on more responsibilities with fewer resources. The workload became overwhelming, and any concerns raised were met with deflection—often making it seem like we weren’t doing enough. Favoritism was evident, and the frequent changes only added to the instability. Additionally, our benefits, once excellent, declined significantly due to cost-cutting measures. While I’m grateful for the knowledge and experience I gained, the best decision I made in 2025 was leaving EmployBridge.
