Pros

The people here are for the most part very kind. The types of interactions you have with employees will depend on your role, and department. If you have a cross-departmental you will get a better feel for the company culture. We have company events such as a monthly happy hour and a quarterly outing. You receive quarterly bonuses dependant on the goals your manager sets for you. If you meet all goals 100%, you will receive 100% of your bonus. If you've noticed, many of the positive reviews are coming from employees in Greenville. This is because Greenville is not our headquarters so it is smaller, more inviting settings. They also do not have any direct supervisors since all of the executives live and work from Atlanta.

Cons

Although this organization is comprised of very kind individuals, the executive team does not show how they value their employees through compensation, benefits, or general recognition. When I was originally hired in 2016, I believe the work culture was more warm and welcoming. Now, employees are not able to work cohesively or that is considered being disruptive. Numerous employees have left the company either without notice or providing a week notice because the company was not bringing them value. Being sexist is normalized within this environment. I've been told this is normal for a tech company, but nevertheless it is unacceptable. On numerous occasions I've heard male colleagues make sexist jokes about women without even blinking an eye.

Job security is a concern: The company initially stated there would be no more layoffs after the first round in March of 2024, but just three months later, another round of layoffs occurred in July. Toxic executive leadership: The executive team, driven by personal connections, fosters a toxic work environment. There’s a lack of direction and support from the top, with a focus on self-interest. No US culture: The company has no meaningful culture, especially for those outside of Ireland. If you're not based there, you're essentially invisible and excluded from any sense of community or belonging. Significant downsizing: The U.S. team has been reduced significantly over the last year, contributing to a sense of instability. Focus on cost-saving over innovation: The parent company prioritizes cost reductions rather than investing in growth or innovation. Declining business: Overall business performance has been shrinking, leading to concerns about the company’s future.
