Strong social hierarchy and the behavior that surrounds that. A business plan set up to fail making for an environment of scrambling and personal sacrifice to "save the day". Long hours, insufficient infrastructure. Idiotic money wasting. Example : lease of a "photography studio space" and then built out and designed. It does not resemble a photography studio with massive deficiencies, does not function as a photography studio. The designers hired to perform this expensive build had never designed a photo studio and seems never seen one. And whoever hired them was apparently not in the photography department and is typical of the complete moronic lack of knowledge in what they are engaged in. 50 percent of the space is empty with offices. Apparently the team of professional photographers had no part in any of the key decisions as they are not on the radar. We had a party there and the people that worked there were all just gutted and embarrassed. Example: hiring stylists and photographers for huge amounts of money when they employ photographers and stylists. Huge questionable merchandise buys based on political/social affiliations. Low low sales. The promise of data mining to create success is a golden goose as the production of this enterprise is as flawed as it's promise. But if the business was judged on gaining other peoples investment money then it is a huge success.
