If I could give this place zero stars, I would. - Business Development Representative (BDR) TP Employee Review

Pros

If you're completely new to sales, and new to the country, it could be a comfortable place to work while you're trying to build your resume because you'll likely get to work with big name clients or wait for your PR status to come in - but only for a year or two MAX. Also, somehow, the internal culture among most of your co-workers can be nice because most of you will be bonding over your hatred of the company but even that will get old quickly.

Cons

I doubt I even have enough space to describe all the cons with working at TP but I'll try to list them as briefly and concisely as possible: i) low pay, ii) terrible managers, iii) illegal employment practices, iv) racial discrimination, v) sexual harassment, vi) company has a terrible reputation, vii) very limited opportunities for growth in terms of either position or skill/career development, viii) constant gas-lighting from management, ix) there can limited internal mobility within the company between different business lines (but this can vary depending on your "performance"), x) job is not performance-based, it is based mostly on vanity metrics; I could go on but this company isn't even worth the time I spend hating it.

Pros

I have a job and have met some amazing people in my role.

Cons

I've been here for almost a year and I was hired on with a medical field company which is what I applied for, I was not made aware that at anytime my position could be changed and I could be randomly put with another company. As of today I am with my 3 "campaign" not anything close to what I was hired on for. My training experience here has been the absolute worst every campaign has a thrown to the wolves mentality and you'll either sink or swim and we will fire you when you fail ethic. The pay sucks it is not competitive or an incentive to want to stay. There are no raises or bonuses. PTO is denied constantly even when put in far enough in advance. Each new campaign that I have been forced into has also come with at least 5 weeks of training time that days off were banned for so in the 11 months I've been here I've been required to work 15 weeks plus ongoing black out PTO days as well. People ask me if where I work is hiring and I tell them they don't want to work here. Also moving into better positions is impossible.
