Pros

Perks such as massages and manicures. Great Coworkers, free food and benefits. Great advancement opportunities.

Cons

Enova is constantly changing which is okay for the most part, however there was a new QA structure that rolled out called GBG which affects the employees pay,Enova is trying to save money with this new structure. this was a terrible idea it has changed the overall morale of the call center and has it's employers looking for employment elsewhere. Since this new structure has rolled out there have been several employees who have quit.

Thank you for your review and your commitment to Enova! We appreciate you taking the time to give us feedback. The purpose of the GBG initiative was to give more ownership to our critical front line operations associates and empower them to drive a better customer experience. If you would like to share more about your experience and suggestions on ways to improve this new process, I would be happy to meet with you.

Pros

The people you work with everyday are awesome. My direct manager is awesome and gives me freedom. Not all managers are like mine. The company insurance is phenomenal not Guna lie and it's cheap. The pay is ok.. It beats $10/hr.. If your just starting $1600 a month isn't bad.. U get 2 weeks vacation starting and 3 weeks after one year.. They give you 24 hrs of My Time that is included in your paid time off so you can come late, leave early or call off last minute.. And u can be late 15 mins once a week.. So they are pretty flexible not Guna lie.. You need 8 occurrences to get fired.. If you are in customer service you have to be an idiot to get fired.. Like cuss out a customer stupid.. Otherwise as long as u do your job and ur numbers are ok.. No one will say anything to you.. Bottom line is if you need work this is a good transition job to have and the starting pay will help.. But I would always be looking for something better

Cons

The job itself sucks!! Talking to people that have applied for loans without reading their contract prior to signing.. The customers have no concept of the fact that if you borrow money you should try and pay it back as soon as possible.. Like who doesn't know this..I wish the company did credit checks so you wouldn't have to deal with these kinds of people.. They never read the contract.. Ever!!! Some of these people have already rec'd the Funds and don't know how any of this works because they didn't read the loan contract.. They just saw get money now!! They never try to pay it off as soon as possible and then they wonder why they overpaid.. It's very frustrating.. There are people that are 30,40,50,60, and 70 years old that dont know good borrowing practices or that even though your debit card and checking account are connected that they are 2 completely different methods of payment and funding.. It's like simple common sense stuff and these people have no clue.. Which is why they are in the perdicament they are in and need a payday loan in the first place.. These customers think the company owes them this money because they are a customer.. They don't even understand Each application is a brand new application and should be reviewed and processed.. They really think we owe them and they will call and tell us it's our fault if they dont receive The funds usually because they applied with incorrect bank info and demand we cover their overdraft fees because they over drafted their account because the funds didn't come.. It's a disaster.. Advancing from the call center to a corporate position is next to impossible unless u have a degree in IT, Finace, analytics, or marketing and even then they will probably take an outside hire.. Advancing within the call center is possible.. Section managers make like 50k a year starting and team leads make $17-$18/hr..
