There was a lot of segregation of teams. Enova's diversity numbers may have looked great on paper but the departments were separated by racial demographics. Once there was feedback regarding the HR team being solely comprised of white woman, they were able to hire a Hispanic man almost immediately.
The benefits were terrible and expensive and their insurance denied important procedures that I was later able to get with my new employer.
They treat all employees like they are expendable and barely even human. They will overwork you and underpay you and expect you to be happy when they cut your bonus over and over again.
They hire managers from within and don't train you. When you make mistakes, no matter how minor it's mentioned on your review and impacts your raise. This is done purposely to keep the pay rates low.
There is a big separation between operations and corporate even though they are in the same building. Only corporate employees get access to the free snacks, Monday breakfast and go to the holiday party. Given that operations is mostly comprised of African-Americans, you will get a side glance and someone asking if you work at Enova if you are on a corporate floor even when you belong there as a corporate employee that manages an Operations team.
Enova is in no way, shape, or form, an open or accepting environment. It is a job to hold you over until you get a new and better one! It was a terrible experience overall and it just kept getting worse once I started moving up.
