Pros

Solid pay, great health insurance, great food served on campus

Cons

Poor time off (10 vacation days per year) also don't get much off for holidays High work load, stressful environment Company culture isn't great, it's pretty clear from the actions of upper management that Epic doesn't prioritize its employees highly. Non-compete clause is highly restrictive

Pros

Mentor/mentee relationship Great coworkers Meaningful work Good pay

Cons

The longer you stay the more responsibility and work you get. Long hours is the norm (even organized late nights sometimes). It is difficult to maintain a life outside of work at Epic. The management doesn't seem to care about your personal life at all, just the dates and deadlines. It's no surprise the turnover rate is high.

Pros

Great salary if you can handle the stress and are willing to work unpaid overtime Good health insurance

Cons

-Benefits, outside salary/health insurance, are incredibly lacking/nonexistent. --The 2022 WFH policy is overly complicated and underwhelming. -Upper management is out of touch or simply doesn't care about what employees desires/well-being. -Upper management isn't transparent about their decisions. -Epic takes advantage of you being salaried. Don't expect to be directly compensated (day off or extra pay) for working nights/weekends. -Work bleeds into your personal life. -Epic makes it difficult to leave, especially if you want to stay in the healthcare space. -Epic doesn't take DEI seriously. -Over the past decade the TS role has become less about being a problem solver and thinking critically and more about following processes.
