Pros

Sabbatical Good chance to get into IT if you're not in a major related to that field You get a good starting salary. Plateaus after like 3-4 years so I definitely wouldn't make this place a long term career.

Cons

Unhealthy work-life balance I don't think benefits are competitive You don't learn any transferrable skills. You become a good "Epic employee" but the longer you stay at Epic the more dependent you become on them. It's like ascending a very narrow staircase with no room to jump to other opportunities.

Pros

Smart coworkers. Good pay for new graduates.

Cons

Out of touch leadership. I think they have been out of touch for awhile, but our COVID-19 really brought it to light. Long hours. They will keep piling on work until you are either work terrible hours or are missing deadlines. It is possible to create a good balance, but it is hard. Career growth options are mediocre.
