Pros

Work on important projects with very intelligent hardworking people Good salary in low cost of living area Can have large bonuses and salary increases

Cons

Commute could be really bad at peak times or in bad weather or in summer with construction. Being a high achiever for me meant giving up work life balance. Non-compete makes it a difficult decision to walk away if you like working in healthcare IT. Some expectations should come with additional compensation or benefits (go-live floor support and AH pager should have additional recovery time equivalent to time worked)

Management doesn't trust employees

Pros

Good pay and good food

Cons

Bad work life balance. We get 5 "generous" remote work days per year, despite most meetings being virtual. Management has recently decided that every employee is required to be on the office between 9 and 5, removing their flexible working hours. The company is going downhill, don't apply.

Pros

Great pay, benefits, and stocks! Growth here is good including raises if you work hard.

Cons

Can work a lot depending on team and project. There’s also a lot of independence when it comes to projects, and devs here have to wear a lot of hats. No WFH either or EV charging stations
