Pros

The people are the best part of the company. Very willing to help and super nice. Great pay and benefits

Cons

Very driven by processes and structure. Not a lot of flexibility or creativity. And you have to be in office, no remote or hybrid options. PTO is slim

Could be great

Pros

- wonderful salary, especially after first raise - supportive co-workers, very easy to make friends - lots of responsibility very quickly, great early-career resume builder - campus is great, food is great - Epic generally has good intentions, no one is trying to rip off our customers

Cons

The stress that comes with this job unfortunately nullifies everything above. It’s just not worth it. Epic will throw you into the fire with little training and expect you to make it work - and then tell you it’s your fault when things don’t go well. Unsurprisingly, most folks in the first year of their professional career do not know how to navigate delicate situations with customers adequately, but you will still be blamed when things go wrong despite receiving insufficient support.

Pros

Salary, culinary, private office, nice surroundings, good coworkers

Cons

No WFH, barely any WFH flexibility even though it’s entirely possible, out-of-touch upper management, poor COVID response and policies, culture of overworking and burnout, not enough parking for employees who are REQUIRED to be in person.
