Easy to see how the work you do impacts healthcare in a positive way The benefits and pay are good The campus is incredible and you will either have your own office or one that you share with one other person Fast paced and allows you to take on lots of your own responsibility They are trying hard to update their Tech Stack to more modern languages

Cons

Lots of processes to go through in the dev process but this makes sense as the software literally impacts millions of peoples health each day

In comparison to living expenses of the area the pay is very good. There is a friendly and competitive working environment. As a whole the company constantly strives to improve its processes and seeks to adopt newer and better technologies. Management will seek challenge you and help you grow in your area.

Cons

Depending on which application you work on there is a lot of older code written in obsolete languages (mostly just VB6). Competition is pretty high, you may be expected to work more hours depending on productivity.
